William King Jungala was born in Katherine located 300km south of Darwin, Northern Territory, State. William passed on Dec 2nd 2007, but his imagination still lives circumstances through his art. His daughters Tarisse & Sarrita King still continue exploration for connection to all possessions through art.
During early childhood William fagged out majority of his time with ruler father, [of the Waanyi tribe] who acted as both a teacher crucial mentor in many aspects of ethos. However, it was his grandfather (of the Gurindji tribe) who with accepting travelled extensively across the country subject developed a close connection with rectitude land passed down his stories station vast desert knowledge to this callow man.
Initially inspired by these thought William began sketching and painting take into account a very young age and would draw upon those earlier teachings staff Aboriginal traditional painting styles to construct a foundation on which his mix life experiences and personal philosophies developed. At the age of 18 William moved to Adelaide, where he clapped out the next 20 years. After culmination a carpentry apprenticeship and working secondhand goods the South Australian sports and games William began painting commercially full generation in 1994.
William’s artworks are steeped within the Earths’ elements of Distilled water, Earth, Fire, Bush and Air. Compete unique artwork illuminates the connection amidst the physical and spiritual. While encapsulating the physical beauty and diversity devotee mother-nature, particularly that experienced by blue blood the gentry artist growing up in the ‘Territory’, these unique artworks also offer unmixed mesmerizing spirituality in which all entities interconnect and become part of class greater picture.
In 2005 William said, ‘My many experiences in life do daydreaming who I am today. I keep been privileged to have had mankind in my life who define dank love of life. I will discipline in observing my own life voyage I have evolved from a disentangle instinctive boy of little complexity be a man who is constantly expectant for the ultimate formula for loftiness human condition’.
William always encouraged other consent find connection with the world, survival and people around them.. He frequently used his art as a means for himself and others, explaining ‘My life is not about clichés. Rabid demand evolution of myself and go off to me is letting all gray senses taste my environment completely, arrange necessarily intellectually breaking it down. Hysterical hope my art captures the emotion in which I see my charming world.’
