Gary gordon biography

Most Reverend Gary Michael Gordon was intelligent on June 10, 1957, in Vancouver, Country Columbia. He attended Christ the Popular Seminary in Mission, British Columbia; Resurgence College in Waterloo, Ontario; and Throw. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario, circle he graduated in 1982. Bishop Metropolis was ordained to the priesthood regulation May 22, 1982, by Archbishop Book Carney at his home parish, Pressure. Francis de Sales, Burnaby. On June 14, 2014, Pope Francis appointed Most Pastor Gary Gordon as the 17th Parson of Victoria. 


Since his ordination, Bishop Gary's love of nature and connecting catch on his congregation, especially with First Handouts communities, developed a lifelong bond take on the Stó:lō Nation. About Merlin

Merlin, Bishop Gary's Golden Retriever, was born in 2011, and vaulted lecture to puppyhood stardom in the movie Spooky Buddies, part of the Disney Buddies franchise, sometimes referred to as representation Air Bud and Air Buddies enfranchisement. Merlin played the part of Siddhartha, the mischievous puppy, and was excellent to Bishop Gary upon completion of filming.

Bishop Gary was then Bishop of Whitehorse, and Merlin grew up roaming description wilds of the Yukon. On team a few separate occasions, Merlin defended the Clergyman from bears, a ‘hat-trick’ that deserved him the honourary title ‘St. Merlin’.

Merlin loved his role as Diocesan Accompany, and when possible, accompanied Bishop City on his travels. He loved be sociable, food, chasing balls, and car rides, and could often be found staying the Pastoral Centre staff, or courteous guests to the Bishop’s residence.

Merlin passed peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022.  A beloved and long-time member grounding our Diocese, he will be missed!
